VDOT TO HOST “PARDON OUR DUST” MEETING FOR 29/460 ACCESS MANAGEMENT PROJECT IN LYNCHBURG
Public invited to learn about the project February 2 at VDOT District Complex
LYNCHBURG—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a “pardon our dust” meeting on the second phase of a project to improve safety on Route 29/460 in the City of Lynchburg. The public is invited to meet the project team and learn more about the construction schedule and traffic impacts.
The public can stop by between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2 at the Ramey Memorial Auditorium, VDOT District Complex, 4303 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501. There will be no formal presentation given. In an open house format, staff will answer questions and provide information about construction phasing and traffic impacts during the multi-year project.
Work is expected to begin in February 2016 and the contract completion date is November 2017.
