VDOT TO HOST “PARDON OUR DUST” MEETING FOR ODD FELLOWS ROAD PROJECT IN LYNCHBURG
Public invited to learn about the project January 12 at VDOT District Complex
LYNCHBURG—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a “pardon our dust” meeting on a project to extend Odd Fellows Road and construct an intersection at Route 29/460 in the City of Lynchburg. Meet the design-build project team to learn more about the construction schedule and traffic impacts.
The public can stop by between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12 at the Ramey Memorial Auditorium, VDOT District Complex, 4303 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501. There will be no formal presentation given. In an open house format, staff will answer questions and provide information about construction phasing and traffic impacts during the multi-year project.
Work is expected to begin in January 2016 and the contract completion date is August 2018.
