BRIDGE WORK WILL REQUIRE LANE CLOSURE IN PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY

LYNCHBURG – For their safety, motorists should anticipate a temporary lane closure with access controlled by a signal on Route 40 over Frying Pan Creek (west of Gretna) in Pittsylvania County today.

The bridge rail was damaged by a vehicle and will need to be repaired/replaced and the closure will protect the traveling public.

In the near future, a permanent lane closure will be put in place.

Signs and other traffic control devices will be in use to alert motorists to this change in traffic pattern.

For up-to-date information about this and other transportation-related work, visit www.VA511.org or call 511.
