AEP WORK WILL RESULT IN DETOUR OF US 460 TRAFFIC
Detour in place Saturday night into Sunday morning

LYNCHBURG—The installation of new transmission lines will result in a temporary detour on Route 460 in Campbell County. American Electric Power (AEP) will install new lines across Route 460, just west of the Leesville Road interchange on Sunday, July 24. Prior to the installation, beginning around 10 pm on Saturday, July 23, crews will set up the signage for the detour.

To minimize disruption of traffic, the work will take place on July 24 from approximately midnight to 5 am. Motorists will detour from US 460 at the Timberlake Road and Leesville Road interchanges and travel via Timberlake, Waterlick and Leesville Roads.

Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to this change in traffic pattern. Virginia State Police will also assist with traffic control.
