TURN LANE PROJECT RESULTS IN US 29 SOUTH LANE CLOSURE
 Nighttime operations may create delays

LYNCHBURG – Construction of a right turn lane from US 29 South to Route 688 (Patterson Road) in Campbell County will result in lane closures in the coming weeks and motorists should be prepared for possible delays.

Construction will take place beginning Monday, October 5, weather permitting and will continue for approximately five weeks.  The right travel lane of US 29 will be closed from 6 pm to 6 am each day Monday through Thursday.

Drivers are urged to use caution and follow the signs and other traffic control devices.
