PAVING TAKES PLACE ON ROUTE 40, PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY

LYNCHBURG – Motorists should be alert to paving operations on Route 40 in Pittsylvania County from September 14-25 and plan to delays.

Crews under contract to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin paving operations on Route 40 at Business 29 and continue to Route 618, approximately 8 miles.

Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to these operations and will provide direction. Delays are possible and caution is urged.
