MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT TO CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS
VDOT crews prepared to respond to possible wintry mix

LYNCHBURG – Motorists should take weather conditions into consideration before venturing out tonight and into the early hours of Tuesday. Icy conditions are possible when rain, snow and cold temperatures mixed during the overnight hours.    .

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews in the Lynchburg District have readied their equipment and restocked their supplies and will respond, as appropriate.

In the meantime, motorists can do their part by keeping up with the latest road conditions. For up-to-date information, call 511 or visit  www.511Virginia.org.  Updates will also be available on VDOT’s Facebook account and the district’s Twitter account, @VaDOTLynchburg.
