LYNCHBURG-A design public hearing for a proposed project in the Lynchburg District of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be held on Tuesday, December 9 from 4-6 pm at Temperance Elementary School, 1981 Lowesville Road, Amherst, VA 24521.An inclement weather date of Monday, December 15, 2014 will be used, if necessary.

Route 778 has an annual daily traffic (ADT) volume of 869 vehicles per day (vpd); the project ADT for this route in the design year 2038 is 1086 vpd.
