CLOSURE TO TAKE PLACE DURING CROSSING REPAIRS IN NELSON COUNTY
Traffic control devices will alert motorists

LYNCHBURG- Norfolk-Southern Railroad will be repairing crossings at several locations in Nelson County in the coming weeks which will require the temporary closure of the roads over the railroad tracks.

During the April 7-17 timeframe, repairs will be made to crossings on Route 56 (James River Road), Route 617 (Rockfish Road), Route 639 (Craigtown Road) and Route 817 (Mann Lane).  The work will take place during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Traffic control devices will be in place to alert motorists to this work.
