MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT TO ICY CONDITIONS
Freezing drizzle expected across much of south-central Virginia overnight

LYNCHBURG-Motorists are urged to pay careful attention to the weather and road conditions overnight and throughout Monday morning in the ten-county Lynchburg District of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

Fog and freezing drizzle with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s could create hazardous driving conditions in some areas, especially on bridges and overpasses.

For up-to-date information about conditions, call 511 or visit www.511Virginia.org.  For information about driving in icy conditions, if necessary, visit VDOT's website at www.virginiadot.org.
