Work on various railroad crossings in Prince Edward County will create delays for motorists in the coming week. 

Norfolk-Southern Railroad will be working on the Route 670 (Spring Creek Road) crossing on Jan. 23 and 24 and the Route 800 (Hickory Road) crossing on Jan. 25-26.   The crossings will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and motorists will need to use alternate routes.

This work is subject to change due to weather conditions, availability of equipment and manpower and other conditions.
