Brice named VDOT Civil Rights Manager

Phyllis Brice has been named civil rights manager for the 10-county Lynchburg District of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). 

Brice has been employed at VDOT since 1994 and has over 16 years’ experience in the civil rights field.  Most recently she served as acting civil rights manager for the District. 

In her new role, Brice will work with contractors and employees in areas of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance,  Equal Employment Opportunity, the Wounded Veterans Program and Affirmative Action

The Lynchburg District includes the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Cumberland, Halifax, Nelson, Pittsylvania and Prince Edward.
