Repairs to take place on bridge and road surface near former Jumbo’s Restaurant

LYNCHBURG – Motorists should plan for lane closures and possible delays during the week of October 12 on US 460/29 West in the City of Lynchburg.

Crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be making repairs to both the road and bridge structure in the westbound lane of US 460/29, west of Tyreeanna Road and near the former Jumbo’s Restaurant.

While operations are slated to occur over several days beginning mid-week, weather conditions may result in schedule changes.

Signs and other traffic controls devices will be used to alert motorists to changes in traffic pattern.
