TEMPORARY DETOUR TO BE IN PLACE ON ROUTE 24 AT EVINGTON
Railroad performing work on crossing
EVINGTON – Route 24 between Route 683 (Church Lane) and Route 683 (Miles Lane) will be closed to through traffic from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 23 while the railroad reconstructs the crossing in Evington.
Message boards will be erected in advance of these operations to alert motorists who will be detoured around the closure via Route 682 (Leesville Road) and Route 725 (Ridge Road).
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time for travel during these operations.
