MIDTOWN CONNECTOR DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD
Hearing set for Wednesday, February 13

LYNCHBURG – Area citizens will have an opportunity to review preliminary plans for the Midtown Connector (Kemper Street) roadway improvement project in the City of Lynchburg at an upcoming Design Public Hearing being held by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

No formal presentations will be given during the informal hearing which will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at E. C. Glass High School on Memorial Avenue in the city. However, project information, including tentative construction schedules, property impacts and right of way relocation assistance and the environmental document will be available for review.

Written and verbal comments will be taken at the hearing. In addition, written comments may be submitted by February 23, 2008 to Kendall Lacks, Project Manager, 4219 Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501-1649.
