CLUSTER SPRINGS - One lane of U.S. 501 in either direction near Cluster Springs in Halifax County remains closed as of 8:00 a.m. following an early morning accident.

Utility crews are making repairs and VDOT expects all lanes to be open around 9:00 a.m.
