DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON PROPOSED PLANS FOR LASKIN ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Public invited to learn more about plans to improve capacity and enhance safety along Laskin Road and First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach

SUFFOLK — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on Thursday, December 14, to present the proposed plans for the widening and improvements on Laskin Road, replacement of the Linkhorn Bay bridge, and the widening and signal improvements on First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach.

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation. Media are invited to attend.

Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by December 24, 2017, to Troy Eisenberger, Virginia Department of Transportation, 1992 South Military Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320 or via email to Troy.Eisenberger@VDOT.Virginia.gov.
