DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON PROPOSED PLANS FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT ON ROUTE 134 OVER BRICK KILN CREEK
Public invited to learn more about plans for bridge replacement and rehabilitation project

SUFFOLK — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on Thursday, January 21, to present the proposed plans for the replacement of the northbound bridge and rehabilitation of the southbound bridge over Brick Kiln Creek on Route 134 Magruder Boulevard in York County.

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation. Local media are invited to attend.

Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by February 1, 2016, to Mr. Samba Secka, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 1700 North Main Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434 or via email to Samba.Secka@VDOT.Virginia.gov.
