DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON PROPOSED PLANS FOR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS ON CENTERVILLE ROAD AT NEWS ROAD
Public invited to learn more about plans to replace existing intersection configuration with roundabout at Centerville Road and News Road

SUFFOLK — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on Wednesday, December 16, to present the proposed plans to improve safety and capacity by replacing the existing intersection configuration with a roundabout at Centerville Road and News Road in James City County.

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation. Local media are invited to attend.

Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by December 28, 2015, to Mr. Brandon Harrison, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 1700 North Main Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434 or via email to Brandon.Harrison@VDOT.Virginia.gov.
