DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON PROPOSED PLANS FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT ON DENBIGH BOULEVARD
Public invited to learn more about plans to replace existing bridge over Interstate 64 and CSX railroad with new bridge that meets current design standards

SUFFOLK — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on Tuesday, December 15, to present the proposed plans for replacement of the bridge over Interstate 64 and CSX railroad on Denbigh Boulevard in Newport News.

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation. Local media are invited to attend.

Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by December 28, 2015, to Mr. Ricardo Correa, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 1992 South Military Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320 or via email to Ricardo.Correa@VDOT.Virginia.gov.
