DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING TODAY FOR MILITARY HIGHWAY CONTINUOUS FLOW INTERSECTION (CFI)
Media invited to learn more about project designed to ease congestion

NORFOLK─ The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be holding a Design Public Hearing on the proposed Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) to be built at Military Highway and Northampton Boulevard in Norfolk. The public hearing will take place today, Wednesday, September 10, 2014, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Lake Taylor High School.  The CFI, part of the overall Military Highway widening project, is a new type of high-volume intersection design that improves traffic flow through an intersection by moving left turning vehicles away from the main intersection.

WHEN: Wednesday, September 10, 2014, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Lake Taylor High School, 1384 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA 23502

WHY: Public invited to learn more about the proposed Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) to be built at Military Highway and Northampton Boulevard in Norfolk. Property impact information, relocation assistance policies and tentative construction schedules will be available.
