Carl D. Silver Parkway (Central Park Entrance)
Tuesday, Oct. 31 ˗˗ Friday, Nov. 3, 10 p.m. ˗˗ 7 a.m All northbound lanes on Carl D. Silver Parkway at Route 3 will be blocked for water line and storm sewer work. I-95 Northbound at Route 3 Westbound
Tuesday, Oct. 31 ˗˗ Friday, Nov. 3, 12 a.m. ˗˗ 3 a.m. The ramp carrying traffic from westbound Route 3 to I-95 northbound will be closed to allow crews to work safely. Westbound traffic will be detoured to make a U-turn at Carl D. Silver Parkway to eastbound Route 3 and directed to I-95 northbound using the other ramp. The ramp will reopen at 3 a.m. each morning and the detour will be lifted.
Message boards and extra signage will be posted to warn motorists about closures and detours.
This project will enhance safety by reducing vehicle merging and weaving that can lead to crashes, injuries and congestion on Route 3 and I-95. These improvements are designed to lower the crash risk by eliminating conflict points where vehicles currently merge.
