ROUTE 3 DETOUR IN WESTMORELAND ON SEPT. 12-13
Crews will be installing a new drainage pipe on Route 3 near Antioch Road

FREDERICKSBURG – Route 3 traffic in Westmoreland County will be detoured on Monday, Sept. 12 and Tuesday, Sept. 13 for a pipe replacement project near Antioch Road.

Route 3 will be closed immediately west of Antioch Road from 4 p.m. Monday until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour route:

  • Route 613  (Beulah Lane)
  • Route 612  (Antioch Road)
  • Route 600  (Nomini Hall Road)
  • Route 621  (Nomini Grove Road)

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is replacing a deteriorated metal drainage pipe with a new concrete pipe.

Message boards are posted to notify motorists of the upcoming Route 3 closure and detour.
