ROAD CONDITIONS REMAIN MODERATE TO SEVERE
Motorists should stay off the roads throughout the day
FREDERICKSBURG – (6 a.m.) Crews have worked overnight plowing Interstate 95 and primary routes throughout the 14-county Fredericksburg District. This morning all roads throughout the district remain in moderate to severe condition except in Gloucester County and Mathews County where conditions are reported as minor to moderate.
Snow continues to fall and high winds are causing limited visibility and drifting snow. Motorists should stay off the roads until conditions improve.
Crews will spend the day clearing the interstate, primary roads and major secondary roads that lead to vital emergency and public facilities. Plows are concurrently making a pass in subdivisions whenever possible.
