NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL TO BE ACTIVATED ON SPOTSYLVANIA PARKWAY
Signal will operate in flash mode starting Tuesday, Sept. 6 and will go into full operation on Thursday, Sept. 8
FREDERICKSBURG – A new traffic signal will be activated next week at the intersection of Spotsylvania Parkway and Latitude Street in Spotsylvania County.
The new traffic signal is located on Spotsylvania Parkway halfway between Route 1 and the Interstate 95 overpass near Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
The signal will be placed in flash mode the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The signal will go into full color operation at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8
Motorists can find real-time information on work zones, traffic, incidents and lane closures on 511Virginia.
VDOT’s 14-county Fredericksburg District includes the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford in the Fredericksburg area; Northumberland, Richmond, Lancaster and Westmoreland counties in the Northern Neck; Essex, Gloucester, King & Queen, King William, Mathews and Middlesex counties in the Middle Peninsula.
