LIGHT SNOW POSSIBLE DURING FRIDAY MORNING RUSH HOUR
VDOT crews reporting at midnight across Fredericksburg District

FREDERICKSBURG – (4 p.m.) Motorists are advised that light snow could create slick, hazardous road conditions across the Fredericksburg District early Friday morning.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are reporting at midnight in the Fredericksburg area, Northern Neck, and Middle Peninsula. Trucks loaded with sand and salt will be ready for quick deployment to treat Interstate 95 and primary roads as needed.

Travelers are advised to monitor weather forecasts and check road conditions on 511Virginia before starting a trip tomorrow morning.
