I-95 NORTHBOUND NOW OPEN AT FREDERICKSBURG
Emergency sign removal is complete
FREDERICKSBURG – Northbound Interstate 95 at Fredericksburg has re-opened to traffic after crews completed an emergency sign removal for motorist safety.
Residual travel delays may exist as congestion clears northbound I-95, northbound Route 1 and Route 3 in the Fredericksburg area.
Crews closed I-95 northbound shortly after 10:30 a.m. to remove an overhead sign that was struck overnight by a vehicle. The sign was located at mile marker 132, just north of the Rappahannock River Bridge.
