EXPECT DELAYS ON ROUTE 611 (PECKATONE ROAD) IN WESTMORELAND SUNDAY NIGHT
Traffic will be stopped on Peckatone Road for 45 minute intervals overnight
FREDERICKSBURG – Traffic on Route 611 (Peckatone Road) in Westmoreland County will be stopped for 45 minute intervals between 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 and 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31 for an emergency pipe repair.
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews will be replacing a deteriorated drainage pipe.
Emergency service providers will be allowed to pass through the work zone as needed. Peckatone Road will be re-opened to traffic every 45 minutes to allow any waiting motorists to proceed through the work zone.
The work zone is located a half-mile north of Route 606 (Tucker Hill Road).
Approximately 260 vehicles a day travel Peckatone Road, according to a 2015 VDOT traffic count.
