EXPECT BRIEF DELAYS ON ROUTE 3 IN SPOTSYLVANIA TODAY
Two lanes will be closed intermittently in both directions near Harrison Rd. to add pedestrian crossing

FREDERICKSBURG – Motorists should anticipate brief travel delays on Route 3 (Plank Road) near Route 620 (Harrison Road) in Spotsylvania today.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews will add pavement markings for the new pedestrian crossing to the intersection of Route 3 and Harrison Road. 

Two lanes will be closed intermittently, both eastbound and westbound, near Harrison Road for the next few hours.  

Motorists need to be alert to the work zone, especially as they approach the intersection.

All work is expected to be complete by approximately 3 p.m. today.  

VDOT and Virginia State Police will monitor traffic conditions.
