-95 BRIDGE DECK REPAIRS TO TAKE PLACE THIS WEEK IN STAFFORD
Beginning tonight expect delays on I-95 southbound at Exit 133 (Route 17/Falmouth)

FREDERICKSBURG  –   At 9 p.m. tonight, VDOT will begin deck repairs on the
I-95 bridge over Route 17 near Exit 133 (Route 17/Falmouth) in Stafford County.

Motorists should expect the following delays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.:
• A single lane closure on I-95 southbound at Exit 133.
• Intermittent single lane closures on Route 17 northbound and southbound at the I-95 bridge.
• Closure of the I-95 southbound on- ramp from Route 17 northbound.

The I-95 southbound ramps to Route 17 at Exit 133 (Route 17/Falmouth) will remain open.  

Motorists should use Route 17 southbound to access the on-ramp to I-95 southbound.

The bridge deck repairs will take place from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. tonight, Tuesday night and Wednesday night. The repairs are expected to be complete by 5 a.m. Thursday, July 21, weather permitting.
