VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS ON ROUTE 3 IN NORTHERN NECK
Agency will share findings of a Route 3 study that reviewed corridor in King George, Westmoreland, Richmond, and Lancaster counties

FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will present findings from a study of potential transportation improvements on Route 3 in King George, Westmoreland, Richmond and Lancaster counties.

Two public meetings will be held in December:

(Western Portion)
Tuesday, Dec. 1

5-7 p.m.

VDOT, in partnership with the Northern Neck Planning District Commission, looked at ways to improve the efficiency of the Route 3 corridor between Route 301 in King George County and the Robert O. Norris Bridge in Lancaster County.

Public meetings were held in June 2015 to seek feedback on how Route 3 can be improved.
