OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES PLANNED ON ROUTE 301 IN KING GEORGE
Next week, traffic on Rt. 301 will be reduced to one lane near Harry W. Nice Bridge

FREDERICKSBURG – Motorists will encounter single lane closures on Route 301 in King George County next week as workers replace guardrail along the northbound and southbound lanes near the Harry W. Nice Bridge approach.

Work is anticipated to occur on the following schedule, weather permitting:

Southbound Route 301

Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18 – Single lane closure each evening from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning.

Northbound Route 301

Thursday, March 19 – Single lane closure 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following morning.

A second week of guardrail work may be required. Additional work dates will be announced as they are scheduled.
