NORTHBOUND I-95 REMAINS CLOSED IN SPOTSYLVANIA
All northbound traffic is being detoured at exit 118/Thornburg

FREDERICKSBURG – (9:45 a.m.) All lanes of northbound Interstate 95 remain closed for law enforcement activity near mile marker 124 in Spotsylvania County.

Northbound I-95 traffic is being detoured at exit 118/Thornburg to Route 1 northbound. From Route 1, travelers can re-enter I-95 northbound at exit 126/Spotsylvania.

Motorists should expect significant delays in this area through midday. The interstate is estimated to remain closed for several hours.

Traffic signal timing on Route 1 has been adjusted for additional northbound traffic.
