MILLING AND PAVING TO BEGIN ON ROUTE 17 IN TAPPAHANNOCK
Work zone will include the Bray’s Fork intersection

FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin milling and paving work on Route 17 northbound and southbound in the Tappahannock area this week.  

Motorists should expect delays, a rough driving surface and unmarked pavement on Route 17 between Lowe’s and the southern end of the Piscataway Creek Bridge.  A portion of the Bray’s Fork intersection will be included in the work zone.

Work will begin on Wednesday, May 13 and continue through Friday, May 29.  Crews will be working 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Friday. No work will take place on Monday, May 25.
