LORIELLA PARK DRIVE TO OPEN SATURDAY, APRIL 18
Construction work wrapping up to replace culvert on subdivision road in Spotsylvania County

FREDERICKSBURG – Route 1387 (Loriella Park Drive) in Spotsylvania County will re-open to through traffic tomorrow.

Loriella Park Drive has been closed at a drainage culvert site since October 2014, with traffic detoured to Windsor Drive. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and its contractor replaced a deteriorated culvert underneath the road.

A concrete box culvert was installed to promote better drainage. New guardrail was added.

Periodic single-lane closures will be required on Loriella Park Drive as construction concludes, but the road will remain open to through traffic.

Loriella Park Drive carries approximately 1,200 vehicles per day.

Motorists can call 511, visit www.511virginia.org or use VDOT’s 511Virginia free mobile app to find real-time traffic and work zone information in any area of the state.
