Bridge deck repair will be underway near Exit 126 on southbound I-95 in Spotsylvania County

FREDERICKSBURG – Motorists traveling on southbound Interstate 95 in the Fredericksburg area could experience brief delays Wednesday, Dec. 16 and Thursday, Dec. 17 while bridge deck patching is underway near Exit 126/Spotsylvania.

Travel lanes on southbound I-95 will be closed at the Route 1 overpass according to the following schedule on Wednesday and Thursday evenings:

8 p.m. Single lane closure
10 p.m. – 4 a.m. Double lane closure
4 a.m. – 2 p.m. Single lane closure

All lanes will re-open by 2 p.m. the following day.

Crews will be patching the bridge deck as a routine maintenance project.
