I-95 NORTHBOUND TO CLOSE FOR 30 MINUTES IN STAFFORD
Traffic will be detoured from approximately 10-10:30 a.m. to clear truck incident

FREDERICKSBURG – (9:40 a.m.) Northbound Interstate 95 will be closed for approximately 30 minutes this morning from 10-10:30 a.m. to allow crews to clear the scene of a truck incident just north of Exit 143/Garrisonville in Stafford County.

All northbound traffic will be detoured to Route 1 at Exit 143/Garrisonville, and will travel Route 1 northbound to re-enter the interstate at Exit 148/Quantico Marine Corps Base.

Traffic signal timing has been adjusted on Route 1 in North Stafford to accommodate extra traffic traveling north.

Traffic is currently getting past the incident scene in a single open travel lane, but a full interstate closure is required to remove the truck.
