EXPECT DELAYS FOR DOWNING BRIDGE INSPECTION APRIL 20-24
Route 360 traffic will be reduced to one lane at the bridge during daytime hours

FREDERICKSBURG – Beginning Monday, April 20, the Virginia Department of Transportation will begin an annual inspection of the Downing Bridge.

 

Route 360 will be reduced to a single lane on the bridge from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday next week. Traffic will be directed by a flagging crew.

 

The Downing Bridge crosses the Rappahannock River and connects Richmond and Essex counties.
