DOWNING BRIDGE INSPECTION RESCHEDULED
Expect delays on Route 360 at Essex, Richmond County crossing on April 23-24

FREDERICKSBURG – Due to weather conditions today, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has rescheduled an inspection of the Downing Bridge on Route 360 for Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24.

 

A single lane will be closed on the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Motorists should expect brief travel delays.

 

The Downing Bridge crosses the Rappahannock River, and connects Richmond and Essex counties.
