VDOT TO INSPECT TWO BRIDGES IN KING WILLIAM COUNTY NEXT WEEK
Motorists will be restricted to one lane on Route 360 and Route 600

FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will conduct routine bridge inspections on the Route 360 bridge over Moncuin Creek and the Route 600 bridge over Fox Mill Run next week. Both bridges are located in King William County.

The inspections will begin on the Tuesday, March 5 on the Route 600 (West River Road) bridge over Fox Mill Run.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in each direction on the bridge located between Edge Hill Farm Drive and Millwood Road.  Lane closures will be in place between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

On Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7 crews will be inspecting the Route 360 bridge over Moncuin Creek located approximately three miles north of the Hanover County line.  The inspections will begin on the westbound side of the bridge and motorists will be restricted to one lane.  On Thursday, crews will inspect the eastbound side of the bridge and motorists will be restricted to one lane.  Lane closures will be in place on both days between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
