VDOT TO INSPECT BRIDGES IN MATHEWS COUNTY NEXT WEEK
Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone

FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has scheduled the inspection of three bridges located in Mathews County beginning Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26.  

Motorists will be restricted to one lane between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the following locations:

Monday - Tuesday
Route 14 (John Clayton Memorial Highway) bridge over North End Branch.  

Tuesday – Wednesday
Route 3 and Route 14 (Westbound) bridge over Burke Mill Stream.  The structure is located at the Gloucester/Mathews County line.

Thursday – Friday
Route 223 bridge over Milford Haven.  The structure is located between Route 198 and Route 633.
 
Motorists are encouraged to call 511 or visit www.511Virginia.org for real time information about traffic delays and road conditions in Virginia.
