Motorists should expect brief delays on the interstate and on Paige Road

FREDERICKSBURG –   Beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close one lane on both north and southbound I-95 at the Route 605 (Paige Road) overpass in Caroline County.

VDOT crews will be installing debris shields on the bridge over the interstate in preparation for the deck patching project that is expected to begin on Sunday, September 8.

All lanes on the I-95 and Paige Road are expected to be open traffic by 5 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
