NOMINI CREEK BRIDGE REPLACMENT PROJECT SET TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK
Route 621 (Prospect Hill Road) to be closed during construction

FREDERICKSBURG –   On Tuesday, September 10, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin work to replace the Route 621 (Prospect Hill Road) bridge over Nomini Creek in Westmoreland County.


The project will include the demolition of the existing structure, reconstruction of a new bridge and improvements to the bridge approaches.  


During construction Route 621 (Prospect Hill Road) will be closed to traffic at the bridge which is located  just south of Route 202.


Motorists will be directed to use the following detour:


 Route 202 to Route 600 back to Route 621


The $2.8 million project is expected to be complete in October 2014.
