Traffic signal will begin service on Wednesday, October 30 in Spotsylvania County

FREDERICKSBURG – Warning lights are flashing today on a new traffic signal in Spotsylvania County at

the intersection of Lafayette Boulevard, Hotchkiss Street and Alliance Way.

This signal will operate in flash mode until Wednesday, Oct. 30, giving motorists time to adjust to the presence of a new signal and traffic pattern.

The signal will go into full color operation between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

The new signal has been coordinated with an existing traffic signal at Lafayette Boulevard, Olde Greenwich Drive and Rodes Street to minimize potential delays.
