VDOT TO REPLACE PIPES ON SLEEPY HOLLOW TRAIL
Secondary road in Stafford County will close to through traffic for several days starting on Tuesday, July 17
FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will replace drainage pipes underneath Route 1092 (Sleepy Hollow Trail) next week in Stafford County, closing a segment of the road to through traffic for several days.
Sleepy Hollow Trail will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17. Weather permitting, the road is expected to be closed through Friday.
Sleepy Hollow Trail will be closed at the intersection with Sandlewood Terrace, where the drainage pipes are located.
Motorists should use Brookewood Drive or Dogwood Drive as an alternate route during construction to reach Sleepy Hollow Trail and Sandlewood Terrace.
