VDOT TO HOLD CITIZEN INFORMATION MEETING ON AUGUST 9 FOR ROUTE 617 BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK
Bridge to be closed to traffic during daytime hours
FREDERICKSBURG— On Thursday, August 9, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a Citizen Information Meeting for the Route 617 (Island Farm Road) Bridge Maintenance Project slated to begin on August 27. The meeting will be held from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at VDOT’s Tappahannock Area Headquarters located at 1211 Tappahannock Boulevard in Tappahannock.
VDOT representatives will be available to address questions and concerns about the project. Residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the construction schedule and road closure details.
