ROUTE 205 DETOUR DELAYED UNTIL FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2
Temporary Traffic Signal at Longfield Road will remain in flashing mode

FREDERICKSBURG— Hurricane Sandy delayed the start date of the Route 205 (Ridge Road) Bridge Rehabilitation project by one day.  The project and scheduled detour will now begin on Friday, November 2 after 9 a.m.

The temporary traffic signal located on Route 205 at the intersection of Route 631 (Longfield Road) will be fully operational when the detour begins on Friday, November 2.  The signal is currently operating in its flashing mode.

The delayed start of the project will not impact the March 2013 completion date and the detour will be lifted as scheduled in February 2013.

For more details about this project and detour visit www.virginiadot.gov .  For real time traffic and travel information anywhere in Virginia; call 511 or visit www.511virginia.org.
