MOBILE LINE PAINTING OPERATION MAY CAUSE DELAYS IN THE TOWN OF WEST POINT
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when approaching slow moving vehicles

FREDERICKSBURG –    The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has begun repainting the pavement lines at various locations in the Town of West Point.

Motorists should expect brief delays in the work zone between 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. each night through Friday, September 14.

To avoid potential damage to your vehicle, motorists are encouraged not to pass these slow moving vehicles and to avoid crossing over freshly painted lines.

For real time listings of work zones and road conditions anywhere in Virginia, visit VDOT’s 24-hour traffic and travel information website www.511virginia.org.  Motorists can also access 511Virginia by calling 511 from any telephone in Virginia.
