MERRY POINT FERRY BACK IN SERVICE
Ferry in Lancaster County is operational again following closure for repairs
FREDERICKSBURG—The Merry Point Ferry in Lancaster County has resumed service.
The ferry ceased operations on Friday, August 24 due to a broken cable, and remained out of service due to required repair work.
The Merry Point Ferry service is located on Route 604 in Lancaster. It crosses the western end of the Corrotoman River. It is operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
