DAYTIME LANE CLOSURE ON I-95 NEXT WEEK
Right lane of I-95 southbound will close in Stafford County, near Exit 148

FREDERICKSBURG—The right lane of Interstate 95 southbound will close next week during daytime hours near mile marker 147, just south of Exit 148 at Quantico Marine Corps Base.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 17 through Thursday, Dec. 20, the right lane will be closed each day from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) continues to repair the slope of the roadway over approximately 200 yards. Due to the materials being used, this work must be performed when temperatures are warmer during daytime hours.

Motorists may encounter delays as they approach the work zone.

Real-time listings of work zones and road conditions in Virginia are available on VDOT’s 24-hour traffic information website, www.511Virginia.org. Motorists can also access 511Virginia by calling 511 from any telephone in Virginia.
